How Does It Work?
You work at your own pace, with 1 to 1 tutor support whenever you need it during your course.
There is no time limit at all for completion of your course(s) & you have lifetime access to your learning resources.
Your learning resources are a combination of video tutorials, detailed training manuals with more supporting images, and most importantly Helen your tutor who is available whenever you need her.
Your assessment is a full head fitting which you complete on the training head we provide, using the hair that we provide.

How Long Do I Have To Complete The Course?
There is no time limit at all for you to complete your courses.
Everyone is different, and has different demands on their time. That's why we never put a time limit on completing your course.
You work at your own pace, with Helen's support, and submit your assessment when YOU are ready. That might be a couple of days, or it might be a year...it does not matter

Are The Courses Accredited?
Yes, absolutely
All of our online course are fully insurance accredited, the accreditation is at the same level as any face to face course.
This means that upon successful completion of your assessment you are able to obtain your own full professional liability insurance which will enable you to offer your hair extension services, to paying clients, safe in the knowledge that you are fully insured.
Full details on how to set this insurance up are sent along with your certifcate(s) when you pass your course.
Our courses are insurance accredited by both Towergate Health & Beauty, (UK students) and the International Institiute For Complimentary Therapies (Both UK & International Students) we are happy for you to contact them to confirm our accreditation credentials.
There can be confusion around accreditation of hair extension courses. All courses will be accredited by different companies e.g Salon Gold, ABT, Towergate etc and these companies are all simply different insurance companies who accredit hair and beauty courses. There are no 'better' companies.
If you are an international student then our courses are fully insurance accredited by the IICT (International Institute For Complimentary Therapies).
Just like our UK based students, this means you are able to obtain full liability insurance to be able to offer your new hair extension services to paying clients.

How Long Does The Course Take?
Everyone is different
There is no set time for how long a course will take. You are not required to study a certain number of hours, you simply submit your assessment when you feel ready.
It will depend on how much time you have to give to the course (everyone is different) and your understanding of the course materials. You work at your own pace, using Helen your tutor whenever you need her for help & guidance.
It also depends of course on how many methods you are learning.
Once you have submitted your assessment you will receive your results within a maximum of 10 working days, and we even have a 'fast track' assessment option where you can 'jump the queue' and get your work marked within 2 days. -
What's The Minimum Age?
The minimum age to take our courses is 16

Do I Need Any Prior Experience?
No, you don't.
We have had students from many different backgrounds complete our courses.
Although of course we do have hairdressers who have taken our courses, it is not a requirement and our accrediting insurer Towergate Health & Beauty will 100% accept you for professional liability insurance.
So whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced technician looking to add further methods our courses are for you -
How Am I Assessed?
A full head fitting on the training head provided, with the hair provided
You are required to complete a full head fitting on the training head supplied, for each method you choose.
You are provided with a 'case study criteria' which sets out the exact images you need to take of your fitting. -
Do I Need A Laptop?
No you don't
Our courses can be completed on any device - phone, tablet or laptop

The Hidden Weave...What You Need To Know
✔️This fitting technique requires weft hair.
✔️The wefts commonly used are machine wefts. This type of weft is made so the binding at the top of the weft is minimal and less bulky and noticeable after it has been attached.
✔️The wefts are attached with micro rings and sewing weave thread . Silicone line rings are most commonly used.
✔️The Hidden Weave is the latest technique added to the sew in weave options. This new technique is the most discreet technique available without the damaging effects of tight braids.
✔️A unique fitting technique that hides the attachment between wefts of hair so hair ups are not a problem.
✔️The fitting time averaging 2 to 2.5 hours to fit a full head. The maintenance and refits are easy to administer with no heat or glue required.
✔️The hair can be used multiple times for a cost effective fitting option. New rings and thread on each refit.
✔️This is a great method to have as part of your portfolio to give you the latest trend but also a secure discreet result with lots of volume .
✔️The type of client to recommend The Hidden Weave would be aclient that requires low maintenance and would suit most hairtypes from medium to thick texture.
Nano Rings...What You Need To Know
✔️This technique requires nano tip hair, fitted with nano rings
✔️The rings used are typically between 2 & 2.5mm in width either with a silicone lining or without
✔️Most common are silicone lined as they offer more grip/less slippage, although the non-lined rings are slightly smaller
✔️The tips of the hair are either metal or acrylic, depending on the hair supplier, but fitted in the same way.
✔️Nano rings are hugely popular, we currently have 1900 students enrolled on this course!
✔️Fitting time is around 2 to 2 1/2 hrs for a full head fitting.
✔️Maintenance & refits are also very simple with no glue, mess or heat, with the added cost effective benefit of being able to re-use the hair extensions with new rings when rotating & refitting
✔️As it doesn't use heat or glue it is a very gentle method to wear, & is very popular amongst clients that are new to extensions as a no risk option.
✔️The type of client suited to nano rings would ideally have hair texture that is fine-medium, not naturally greasy & does not require washing too frequently
✔️Clients with very thick hair will get a better wear from other techniques as the fitting time is increased due to the small sections & will require many packs to achieve the required look
